	WAYS TO SUPPORT THE FRAMINGHAM EDUCATION FOUNDATION Ways of Giving Volunteer Opportunities Make a Donation Ways of Giving The Framingham Education Foundation is a 501(c)3, non-profit, tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax-deductible. The mission of the Foundation is to raise funds to seed creative and innovative endeavors that will enhance the education of the 8500 students attending the Framingham Public School System. Gifts of Cash - the simplest way to give. You can designate where your money is used or have FEF determine where it is needed most. Designated Funds: C.A.R.E. Program - A great opportunity to honor a teacher, employee or friend of the Framingham Public School System while supporting FEF's work. Annual Appeal - A donation to the general FEF account. The FEF Board will designate these funds to be used where the need is greatest. Smith Fund - Donations to this fund will be used to support creative endeavors in poetry in the Framingham Public School System. Thayer Fund for Technology and Research - Donations to this fund will be used to support grants to teachers for technology, research and professional development so that they may find innovative ways to use technology in their classroom. Irving August Fund for International Understanding - Grants from this fund will be awarded to supports projects that teach, expose, and encourage students of all ages, in all aspects of international relations, especially those that reach out beyond our town's borders. Jade Walsh Fund for Language Arts - Donations to this fund will be used to support programs in literacy and language arts. Estate Planning - Gift planning is a great idea to make a long-lasting and valuable contribution to FEF while taking advantage of tax laws. You can name FEF in your will or living trust.
